Vybz Kartel and the Sailing Capital of the World
After my first listen to Vybz Kartel’s romping shop, I knew I would be a lifelong fan. His lyrical genius in dancehall through evolving times has always been a point of admiration for me. Luckily, Vybz walks freely after appealing a decision in his 13-year prison stint. It’s amazing to see the people across the Virgin Islands unite for a spectacular performance. I am happy to have witnessed Vybz Kartel and a beautiful place such as Tola, the sailing capital of the world.
Pure Vybz with Vybz Kartel
I was listening to Vybz Kartel’s music way before I had any business listening to it. In my opinion, he is a lyrical, artistic genius who continues to push the boundaries of dancehall music from the 2010s until now. His impact on Caribbean culture has been long debated, but there is no doubt that his influence on generations across the world is monumental. I’m happy that Vybz Kartel can live somewhat of a redemption arc for himself and enjoy the flower while he is still here.
The British Virgin Islands is the sailing capital of the world
I had one of the best sailing experiences in the British Virgin Islands. I went on the most beautiful catamaran yacht, sailing peacefully from Tortola to Prickly Pear to enjoy a day party at the sandbox. My sailing experience in the British Virgin Islands felt everything like what you would expect it to feel like when you read about Caribbean escapades. The water was crystal clear blue, and it was mesmerizing to see vessels from islands across the Caribbean coming together to enjoy time with one another. I can’t wait for another experience like it!
The Wyndham Lambert Beach resort is a perfect property to relax at
Unfortunately, I did not feel like my best self while I was vacationing in total. I guess you can say nature was running its course. Despite this under the weather circumstances, I had an amazing experience! And part of it was due to my beautiful serenity. I stay at the Wyndham Lambert Beach resort in Tortola. There is truly nothing like falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of crashing waves, and walking to the beach right from your doorstep. Needless to say, I’ll be visiting Tortola again very soon!
