The best place to stay in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

My stay in Rio de Janeiro was one of the best vacation days I’ve had in all of my years of traveling. The location was perfect and serene, the hosts were warm, welcoming, and friendly, and the stay itself felt like the perfect place I would never want to leave. I was stunned on arrival and so upset to leave. Keep reading to find out more about my amazing stay in Rio.

Stunning views

My stay in Rio offered breathtaking views of the city’s iconic landmarks. Each morning, I had the privilege of seeing Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer right from my accommodation, without waiting in long lines. It was hard not to be grateful while staying in Rio. 

Fresh fruit at your door

The entire property is built around nature. A mango tree grows right through the boards of the main front porch, adding a unique touch to the property. As you walk up the stairs, you’ll pass a variety of fruit trees in bloom, including acerola cherries, bananas, and more. I love fresh food, so staying here was a delight in more ways than one. There’s nothing like waking up and having a slow morning while eating the fruit picked.

Tranquil decor

Last but certainly not least, the décor at my Rio accommodation was gorgeous and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen, dining, and living areas had an open floor plan that extended onto a terrace with breathtaking views. The modern finishes on the floors and walls, along with the stylish yet inviting furnishings, created a chic and welcoming atmosphere. Staying in Rio inspired me to dream about home ownership and taking more vacation days. I can’t wait to return someday and soak in all its beauty.
