Beyoncé Cowboy Carter Tour: Houston’s Jaw-Dropping Night One

Beyoncé Cowboy Carter Tour Horseshoe Prop

I can’t believe I got to see Beyoncé not once but twice!  After much reflection, I can truly see. I have been a lifelong fan of Beyoncé. I remember watching her ‘Déjà Vu’ music video repeatedly as a child, completely mesmerized, thinking this is how all pop artists should be — that this was the standard. Boy, was I wrong! Here’s my jaw-dropping experience at the Beyoncé Cowboy Carter tour during night one.

Club Ho Down Seat Upgrade!

Luckily, I got a free seat upgrade to the club ho down at the start of the show. One of my friends got us wristbands with access to the section, and the rest was history. I never saw myself as a type of concert goer who wants to get floor seats, but after this experience, I want to be on the floor for all of my favorite artists. I love my time in a club ho down. It was incredible to be surrounded by fellow diehard Beyoncé fans who showed kindness and courtesy to one another throughout the show, creating a safe, welcoming space where we could all channel our inner Beyoncé. No one pushed or shoved me or was mean to me, as is typically expected and in the mosh pits, so I had the time of my life!

Beyoncé Cowboy Carter Flying Car Malfunction

Unfortunately, there was a malfunction with the flying car during the ’16 Carriages’ performance of my show. From the car’s immediate ascent, it began tilting. At first, I thought this was a part of the show because Beyoncé kept singing and was incredibly professional. As time went on, I realized that something was gravely wrong when the car’s tilt angle became incredibly dangerous for any human being, including Beyoncé. Luckily, she had the wisdom to interrupt the segment and safely lower to the ground.

Beyoncé is a Star

After watching the cowboy Carter tour, I have come to realize that Beyoncé is one of the last true stars of my lifetime. I am obsessed with her dedication to her artistry. Her work ethic inspired me to re-dedicate myself to my hobbies and passion for Q3. A true star not only shines on their own but also lights up the path for others. I am no pop star, but I enjoy witnessing live artistry, especially from Beyoncé.
