I’ve been following Beyoncé’s three-part action series ever since Renaissance dropped in 2022. Watching the artistry, dedication, and pure intention she — and her incredible team — bring to life has been nothing short of inspiring. Renaissance in Miami was my first-ever live Beyoncé concert, and I hate that it took me so long to experience it in person. As we prepare for Act Three, here’s what I’m keeping in mind so I don’t repeat my Act Two mistakes.
1. Buying Presale Tickets
My biggest regret from Act Two? Falling for the presale trap. I thought Ticketmaster’s Beyhive presale would mean the best prices — but with dynamic pricing, it turned out to be the opposite. The hype drove prices sky-high before the general sale even began. Lesson learned: for Act Three, I’ll wait until the initial frenzy dies down in my city and snag tickets then. Patience might just save me hundreds.
2. Waiting for Others to Plan My Trip
Another regret from both acts was waiting for friends to decide if they were in. I’m a huge advocate for solo travel, so I don’t know why I felt obligated to wait for a group to say yes. Coordinating schedules, budgets, and vibes takes too long — and usually leads to missed opportunities. If you don’t already know by Act Three that you want to see Beyoncé live, you’ll probably never know. I’m booking my ticket, trip, and memories next time.
3. Picking a City I Don’t Care About
Some fans are choosing cities just for the chance of a “surprise act” — and then end up disappointed when it doesn’t happen. Here’s my fix: pick a city you already love or have always wanted to explore. That way, the trip is a win no matter what. For Act Three, I’m thinking Europe or New Orleans. With those destinations, I know the trip will be unforgettable before Beyoncé even hits the stage.
